Artist's Comments

Well I hear old Boxer
Got turned into glue
When his legs couldn't carry
the stones that we through
You had quite a party
At the price of his bones
Who needs a good man
When there's new things to own
You throw away memories
To make room for fun
Do you have space for me
Among your prodigal sons?

Discarded bicycle on Front Street, Traverse City.

I like both versions of this.

We just finished reading Animal Farm. I didn't get a chance to be upset at Boxer's death, because I was pissed off at the prologue TELLING ME he died. >O<
bastards!
*Cough*
I'm senti/semi-mental about my literature. .o.

I like this shot- Has it just rained? <3 Rain makes everything a little dreamier. And wetter. And colder. Unless its hot out. Then its like, 'Holy crap! Hot water!'
Maybe thats just here.
:iconlivingcontradiction:
That's a really cool bike.
And, of course, a nice shot on your part :).

We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

I really like this shot. It's got a great mood. I'd really like to see the rear tire kicked out about 6 more inches to help break up the line that is formed by the brick, the tire, the building and the edge of the tree but who am I to say :D

Yeah, I agree, it's not a perfect shot, which is why I almost like he other linked version better.

But thanks, I'm glad the mood came across well.

This version is cool, but I like the alternate better.
