Wow, look at all that contrast and detail! This is really beautiful, and I'm convinced that Narnia lies on the other side of that door. I'm always impressed with how you can really capture the beauty and silence of abandoned spaces.

I've meant to tell you, too, there's an old and decayed "house" on property my dad leases across the road from our house. The walls are still standing, but the roof is gone for the most part. What's interesting, though, is that whoever lived there added an attic/upstairs after the house had been initially built (the exposed inner walls have different materials used). The floor is missing, but there's some of it that remains drooping on one end, and the stair structure leading up to the second floor is still there. It's a pretty neat ruin site, so whenever we're both in Cadillac area again i could show you it sometime if you're interested.
