somedays
we're the world's toy
kicked and pushed and beat around
tossed into the
muddied Monday gutter down below
where no one bothers to go
but not this day
today we're of the lucky people
standing seven stories tall
under the light of the Saturday sun
we've got the whole wide weary wishing world
at our feet
will we thrust and kick it all to the oblivion
or will we lift it from the bottom
and carry it with us to a better place?
Yes, I love the photo..oh neat. Yeah, my oldest brother went there for tennis and business. He now teaches at the Congressional Country Club out in Washington DC! It seems like a nice school.
This is really cool, what a great idea. I like how the feet are present in the "real" but not in the reflection, it ties the two really well together. I just really dig this shot, great work!
